Info media photography : Life is often comprised of curious events and scenarios that just cannot be explained away and the photo series titled Grey Zone by Julian Hibbard focuses on a select few of them. Full of narrative, each image is also filled with mystery, be it playful or serious. It is this mixture of both that really keeps the viewer on his or her toes.
Like the New York City-based photographer’s past work, these images have a cinematic feel that gives the images a dramatic aesthetic. Considering that some of the images center around inanimate objects like a garden gnome or nothing but a hand, that is quite impressive. Yet it is this that really makes people interact with the series Grey Zone by Julian Hibbard.
